Q: What does the service cost?
A: The service is FREE for leagues and organizations to set up, and is FREE for players, parents, coaches, referees, and members to receive SMS text messages, email and to view the web posting cancellations.

Q: How can you offer a free service? Omnilert offers free game cancellation alerts by using a sponsorship model. Local, regional, and national organizations sponsor the messages so the costs are not absorbed by the league or the recipients of the message. The sponsor is recognized at the bottom of the text messages.

Q: Will any party receive unsolicited messages ("SPAM") on their mobile phones?
A: NO. RainedOut enforces a ZERO SPAM policy which clearly prohibits unsolicited messages, and RainedOut.com does not sell the contact information of our subscribers to third party marketers. We cannot afford to ruin the credibility of our company, nor the industry. Therefore you will never receive advertisement messages from Omnilert.

Q: Do I need to install software and/or hardware in order to run Omnilerts?
A: NO. RainedOut is a 100% web-based software system, so you do not need any additional software or hardware. All you need is a web browser with an Internet connection and you are up and running!

Q: How do I stop getting alerts since I am no longer in the league?
A: There are two ways to stop the alert service. The first option is to log in to your RainedOut account and deactivate your service. The second option is to simply reply to any text message from us with the word "STOP" and only the word "STOP".
